User-Generated Content: Images captured by your camera or uploaded from your gallery, and PDF documents uploaded for the purpose of homework and assignment analysis.
Financial Data: We do not store your credit card details. All payments are processed securely via our payment partner, Razorpay.
Usage Data: Information about how you use our app, features you interact with, and your AI chat history.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data in the following ways:

To provide and maintain the StudyBit service, including AI-driven homework solutions.
To process your images and PDF files securely to generate answers, notes, and study materials.
To manage your account, subscription plans, and credits.
To communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support messages.

3. Data Processing and AI Capabilities

StudyBit utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze your homework. When you upload an image or a PDF, the contents of that specific file are sent to our servers and AI providers solely for the purpose of generating the requested solution or summary. We do not use your personal study materials to train public AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our service, who have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf:

Firebase (Google): Used for secure user authentication and database management.
Razorpay: Used for secure payment processing for top-ups and subscriptions.

5. Camera and Photo Library Permissions

Our application requires access to your device's camera and photo library. This access is strictly used to allow you to take pictures of your homework or select existing images to be analyzed by our AI. We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit action and permission.

6. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

7. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. You can view your past analyzed PDFs and camera scans in your "History" tab. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
